I 've eaten here numerous times and their food is always fresh and of consistent quality. When in the province of the Philippines, it 's sometimes hard to find that. They also have some dishes that are not common in the Philippines, like their fajitas which are not like Texas fajitas, they have a soy-based sauce with fresh grilled vegetables like carrots and onions. But make no mistake it 's really good. I recommend their seafood rice. I can 't remember the exact name , but it is a brown colored fried rice with vegetables and pieces of shrimp and other seafood. You can order it as a side or a main dish, but like many American style Chinese restaurants, their dishes are large portions so I suggest everyone order a dish you like and share it with all. Also try their mango or pineapple shake. It 's really more like a smoothie because it 's made with blended ice and fresh fruit, but it is amazing. Nothing like the local pineapples and mangos in Camarines Notre. I promise you just can 't get that quality of tropical fruit in the states. The best in the world I would submit. As far as the atmosphere, the place is small by American standards, but medium by Filipino standards. The place is old but really not unlike anything else around it. But it is right on the beach and if you sit in the patio area, you can see the ocean. I would say it 's charming and cozy and certainly has character, something common in the Philippines. They also serve alcohol and have a full bar with local beers, wine and liquor. You may have to wait a bit for your food and it 's expensive by local standards, about $25 USD range for 2 to 4 people, but well worth it. You may also be one of the only customers even at peak dining times, but don 't be alarmed because this place is out of the budget for most Filipinos, and would be a special occasion for them to blow 1000 pesos on one meal. The owner is a great chef who used to work in England as a high end chef, but has been back in the Philippines for some years now. He is friendly and man 's a small staff of cooks and waitresses. And he actually cooks a lot of the food himself, and is probably why the quality is consistently good. If you find yourself in Daet, Camarines Norte or in that area, take the short drive to Bagasbas (2 or 3 miles- 10 minutes in a tricycle from Daet) and treat yourself. You will never forget it and be glad you did.
Excellent and plentyful Servings of Food at very reasonable prices. Clean and comfortable establishment. Not to miss when you're at Bagasbas Beach.
The food is delicious. A must try when in Daet
The food is a bit pricy but the taste is worth it.
