Le Marcel Cafe Bakery - Dāhānu

I wanted to visit this place for more than 8 to 10 months , but could not visited due to Lockdown, so today finally had the chance to go there with bunch of my friends. We reached at 9 am sharp so most of the dishes were not available, as they were just opening the cafe. We ordered egg and cheese sandwich, chicken and cheese sandwich . Banana smoothie , cappuccino, and hot chocolate. The food was really awesome. Especially egg and cheese sandwich was super yummy. Would like to visit again sometime for proper lunch.

Tried the Orange marmalade this morning at breakfast (at Cob5 homestay) and decided to buy a bottle when we chanced on Cafe Le Marcel. Warm fresh breads and an enticing selection of pastry make Le Marcel a must visit on any scheduled or unscheduled stop at Dahanu.

Located on the Iranian road in Dahanu, this funky contemporary cafe may seem like a typical shop from the outside, but once you step inside, you are greeted with a whole new ambience. The exposed white-painted brick walls, paired with vintage iron seating, create a visually appealing atmosphere. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food is exceptional. I had one of the best hot chocolates in a while, which as a chocolate connoisseur, I would rate 10/10. In addition to burgers, sandwiches, and pizzas, they offer a variety of hot and cold beverages. I caught a glimpse of a sandwich another customer was enjoying, and it looked absolutely magical. The cafe also offers a range of coffee cookies, biscuits, toasts, breadsticks, pastries, cakes, and more for dine-in or takeaway. Overall, this cafe is a must-visit for anyone in or around Dahanu looking for delicious food.

What a beautiful cafe! I have been a regular visitor for a while now, and I always enjoy the delicious food and unique atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to find my favorite sourdough bread here as well. I ended up buying their entire stock!

I recommend trying the chicken burger at this restaurant. They serve it on fresh burger bread and the chicken is very crispy.
