My family of four was walking on the public sidewalk past this business when my two (2) year old Daughter reached out and touched a concrete bird bath that is literally ON THE SIDEWALK.The onslaught of meanness that ensued from the shop owner was impressive. We we’re yelled at, berated, and, ultimately, the cops were called…not by us (the subjects of a verbal tirade) but by the lady who owns the shop.Yes, she called the cops on our two-year-young Daughter and we HAPPILY awaited the Officer’s arrival. In fact, we dedicated the time to wait there until he arrived. After listening to both parties, the Officer suggested that we report this issue to the City as situations like this occur frequently and are a black eye to this community. Were we customers? No. Simply pedestrians on a public sidewalk enjoying a sunny day’s stroll along the historic square of a quaint North Georgian town when we were aggressively pursued as we moved past this shop.Am I bitter? Hmmm…nah, not really…I do embrace forgiveness. But when you see something, say something. I saw something, I’m saying something.
All of these reviews are 100% on point. Gas station coffee, Narnia-meets-Nana’s-attic vibes, and barely any room to walk around. Five stars because my boyfriend and I walked in for kicks and giggles and boy did we get it. I’m just sad we missed the persnickety old lady. Not a place you go for good coffee, but definitely an entertaining experience.
Walked in and got nothing but angry stares and rudeness from them.
The lady who owns this ship is tremendously rude. I wanted to look at the menu before I ordered a coffee and she claimed I just wanted to poke around her shop without buying anything. I can't wait for this place to close down and occupied by someone who will use this building to better effect.
