The large boat-shaped structure, constructed from native woods of the island, serves as a hub for various small food vendors, bars, and simple restaurants. Here, we had the opportunity to sample the traditional Chilean Patagonian dish known as Curanto. The open and airy space provided a unique dining experience as we savored the delicious meal. It's a must-try for anyone visiting the area.
This restaurant is extremely welcoming and has a staff that is exceptionally friendly towards all guests.
When we arrived in Dalcahue, on the island of Chiloé, we were impressed by a striking building that caught our attention. A large structure shaped like a boat, built with native forests from the island, stands out in the main square of the village. We were informed that in this town we could taste a traditional dish from the Chilean Patagonian region, the curanto. Inside the boat, there are numerous small food stalls, bars, and modest restaurants with a few tables, all situated in a wide open space. It is a great spot to enjoy the delicious dish. You must give it a try.
Super cozy and very friendly people with everyone.
