New name. This place has awesome tacos. and the name isnt johns backyard grill. its has changed to MEXICAN food and hamburgers.

One of the best kept secrets in North Dallas. Tucked away inside the Chevron station is a little Mexican grill. The food is very good and the prices are reasonable. The chicken burrito had plenty of chicken and the tacos are exactly right.

It's still amazing, everything I've ordered has tasted really good! Especially with Mexican Coke in the bottle!

Great little taqueria located in Zacks Chevron. Great food, and a cool outside sitting area that you can easily miss if you don't know about it. One of my favorite breakfast stops, but be warned the salsa Verde can be eye watering.
