Los Rancheros Mexican - Dallas

I work in the same shopping strip as this restaurant, and I was craving chips and salsa, so I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, the salsa was not good at all. It was very bland and lacked flavor, definitely not worth $8. If a restaurant can't even get chips and salsa right, I can only imagine that the rest of the food will be equally disappointing. The customer service was also lacking. The only positive aspect was the atmosphere. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant and I will not be returning.

I am giving this restaurant 2 stars because it was not the best but also not the worst. The margarita was terrible and not what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. It was all mix and shouldn't be served in a tall water glass, it should be in a short rocks glass. The bartender didn't even shake it in a mixer, making it pointless. The chips were extremely hard, possibly stale, and I couldn't eat them. The salsa was just as bad, with only tomato flavor and no hint of jalapeno. I visited the restaurant about three days ago around 8 or 9pm and it was not a good experience. I will not be going back there again.

The restaurant is lovely, but the food doesn't have that homemade taste. It feels rushed and there are definitely better Mexican food choices in the city. The cocktails are also lacking that special touch, unfortunately. Overall, it seems like the dishes were not prepared with care and love.

The menu is very good, and the food tastes good, the restaurant is very economical (a ribeye, salad and two fried eggs) I craved it so much that I took the photo later. The exquisite horchata water.

I love to come to eat at this place all the waitress are very nice and polite I usually have a special waitress her name is Gladys she is so good she is always smiling she remembers me she remembers my name and the other waitress also know who I am I go eat there a lot very very nice place to go eat if you have not tried is good for you to try it I don't think you will be disappointed I've had lunch specials to steaks to chile relleno I love them you need to come by and check it out yourself ask for a waitress her name is Gladys
