Proof Pantry - Dallas

Restaurant week at proof and pantry rocks. each curs is better than the one before.

Can't check, but had to evaluate, so did the street. unfortunately proof pantry was closed when we arrived for our reservation. obviously they had hvac problemse. I'll try again someday and hope they're open.

Everything was great. The food was delicious, and it was conveniently located near the opera house, where we had tickets for the performance.

The air conditioning was not functioning, and there was no adjustment made to the bill.

This was our first visit to Proof Pantry, chosen for its proximity to the theater and its special theater menu. The ambiance is charming, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. It seemed they were understaffed for a busy theater night. The waitstaff, host, and bartender were doing their best to keep up, but many patrons ended up leaving in frustration. We arrived at 6 PM for a 7:30 show and barely made it on time. The restaurant has potential, but they really need to increase their staff during theater nights to improve the experience.
