Taqueria Taxco - Dallas

The tacos are authentic and delicious. I recently visited Torchy's and was disappointed with the tacos in general, kicking myself for not going to the truly authentic Taqueria Real Taxco. It may seem odd that it's located at a gas station, but trust me, it's worth it. My favorite tacos are the fajita and al pastor. They also serve tasty burgers!

The green salsa is fantastic, and this is my favorite spot for late-night eats.

I visited this restaurant during breakfast hours today and was denied the opportunity to order breakfast tacos by a female staff member just 5 minutes before breakfast service ended. Initially, I was told I could order them, but another staff member later informed me that I could not due to the approaching end of breakfast service. This was very unprofessional on their part. I would recommend saving your time and not coming here.

I went to Taqueria Taxco to give them a chance, fuel city is overrated. The food was good! I love that they give you grilled onions and their green sauces are official. The red sauce was a bit too spicy for my liking. With all that being said I wouldn’t recommend this place if you aren’t of Hispanic or Spanish speaking descent. The lady at the front with glasses looked at me and kept doing whatever it was she was doing. No acknowledgment of my presence at all. It wasn’t until a guy from the back came up that she unwillingly took my order. Customer service is horrible. Still on the hunt, hate it because the tacos are good. But I refuse to spend more money at a place that doesn’t acknowledge my presence.
