Tatty's Fresh Tex Mex - Dallas

Excellent family-run and family-friendly street taco/sea food restaurant. Cozy dining room and patio; we noticed many people came for to-go orders while we ate. The chef gave us a great run down of the menu, and we settled on the street tacos, which were great (although the fried catfish is their second most popular item, and the ceviche was awesome). Borracho beans and rice are a la carte and extremely tasty.

Really enjoyed this place. The owner was very personable and took time to tell us about the items on the menu. We ended up with tacos and a shrimp po' boy, both of which were delicious.

Excellent food, I travel all over for work, we saw this place and decided to give it a try, I was not disappointed in the least, we were greeted by the owner who proceeded to explain the menu to us, very friendly guy, the food is top notch and made fresh, menu items have a funky twist, I wouldn't be surprised if this place showed up on Diners Drive Ins and Dives. I personally recommend the Carnitas Torta.

Catfish dinner is outstanding. Try it with the salad instead of fries, which goes great with the hushpuppy strips. I stop by every chance I get!

Seriously some of the best food I've ever had, not the best ambiance but who cares when they make food that good. Also he has free alcohol on the weekends usually what's not to love.
