Wits Steakhouse - Dallas

I celebrated my birthday dinner here, and it was a delightful experience. The drinks were excellent, and the service was top-notch.

The food was outstanding. I enjoyed half-shell charbroiled oysters, and my friend sampled them and is now a fan of oysters. I had a steak prepared Oscar style, which was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a great vibe. The bartender was on point with the drinks. I felt fantastic. Awful experience! Actually left and went to another steakhouse.We did not leave after 1 drink we ordered appetizers and bread which both were awful! That’s an untrue statement!!!!

Never even heard of this place before but apparently it's been here a year already. My friend and I wanted to get together for drinks and dessert and she had a gift card to Wits. The reviews of this place are... not great. I'm here to say we had a great experience even though we only had wine and cake. Bartender Angel was very nice and polite, checked on us a bunch. Wines by the glass were the price you'd expect at an upscale steakhouse. Menu was large, looked really yummy. The cake was very rich and good, had gold flecks in it so it kind of shimmered in the light. Very tasty! The music and atmosphere was wonderful, very fun art pieces, interesting space. I'm hoping whatever kinks they've been having with the service are resolved because I'd like to come back for dinner.
