The server insisted I ordered the leg when in fact she made a mistake. No big deal, i was told it will take a few minutes to bring the right meal. Ten minutes later the food arrived. Unfortunately they used the same plate from 10 minutes ago. The frozen fries were dry and cold, the rice was barely warm and the salad was warm as well. The chicken breast looked old (from the day before most likely). Not once the server check if the meal was right. Chicken aji was nowhere to be found. The place smelled weird, maybe turning the AC will help somehow. What a disappointing experience!
I came here with some doubts because I was not sure how the Peruvian Chinese food will be. Okay Resto exceeded my expectations, food was affordable and delicious. Only 4 starts because the restrooms were n*s*y.
Very tasty food and service is friendly. However, the kitchen is a little slow. It took 30 min for food to come out.
The atmosphere was ok, had games going both soccer and Football. The only waitress was very nice but she never stopped by my table again after dropping off the food. The food is more relatable to peruvian cuisine than it is to colombian. I had the fonda paisa, The steak was cooked super well done and even though it was bigger piece than im accustomed to, it was just over cooked. The rice tasted odd, the beans were sweet and the chorizo was undercooked. The saving grace for the plate was that the platanos and the chicharron were made perfectly, not over fried to make it to hard to eat and not under cooked to where it didnt taste like a fried platano. Oh and for appetizer i had 2 small empanadas they were ok, nothing great but not horrible either. Also be mindful that at any given time they will be completely out of certain sections on the menu.
Tasty food, but limited availability on the menu items.
