We inside and it's a alright looking place and clean so that was nice. Took about 15 minutes to cook and that fine because I thought it would be fresh. The price was kind of crazy $25 bucks for this plate and $6.50 piece of turtle pie. Immediately after she tried her food she started coughing. The cabbage is the spiciest flavorless vegetable I've ever had in my life. Her pork chops were thinly sliced bricks and smelled like fish grease so clearly every thing was cooked in the same grease. Sweet potato was just split open with some cinnamon and butter. The only thing that she liked was the pie. That's it. I love to support my people but this was ridiculous and sad to call soul food. Now we have to get her something else to eat because it would be too much of a hassle to even return it.
Great customer service, food is delicious, got that love in it.
The Gentleman at the counter greeted me and my husband with so much joy and made us feel right at home!! And baby the food is delicious!! I had the smothered porkchops, cabbage, pinto beans, yams and 7 up cake! sooo good! We will be back!! Than yall
When they were in the smaller building the food was wonderful the first time I went., The 2nd time to their new building and the food was horrible, wasted $75 on four plates.
Now we all know what it means when I say she stuck her foot ankle bone shin, and kneecap in this food,I promise
