Lovely bartender and our burger was delicious!! It's a smash burger, so don't be surprised. Very nice pool table in the back. Takes quarters and is a buck per game.
The Peak Inn is a true gem in Old East Dallas. The food is amazing, service is great, and drinks are affordable. I highly recommend this bar!

The fried chicken sandwich featuring a distinctly brined chicken breast had two notable flaws. Firstly, the double batter was not fully cooked, although the chicken breast itself was perfectly cooked and juicy. Secondly, the use of old oil resulted in a greasy, oily sandwich. The chicken breast itself is one of the best I have had, flavourful, juicy and perfectly cooked. The smash burger was decent but didn't particularly stand out. Overall, the food has potential, but falls short of being exceptional due to these issues.
