Gills Grill - Dalton

This was my first visit, and we arrived just before closing time. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We took our food back to our semi, and wow, it was absolutely delicious! It tasted just like the meals my mom and grandma used to make. Our daughter is especially fond of the mashed potatoes. We enjoyed deviled eggs, beets, rolls, cubed steak with gravy, coleslaw, potato salad, chicken, corn, and much more. Everything was incredibly tasty!

Food was great and they carried my tray to the table for me since I have a broken arm.

This is one of my favorite places for lunch, especially on Wednesdays. That's when they serve chicken livers, and all I can say is WOW! They are consistently cooked and seasoned to perfection. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which is unfortunately not something you find everywhere. I've never had a bad experience at Gill's. The quality and price exceed my expectations every time. When you can get a full, home-cooked meal for less than $10—less than a fast food combo— and the food is a thousand times better, it's definitely a win. There have been occasions when I arrived after the lunch rush and noticed a few tables that hadn’t been cleaned yet, but I can assure you they were cleaned before I left. Keep up the great work, everyone at Gill's Grill! You can count on me coming back for those amazing chicken livers, mashed potatoes and gravy, and a generous *double order* of turnip greens!

We always enjoy our meals here, no matter what day it is! My husband and I give it 5 stars!

Fast, convenient and good but needed more seasoning. Service was very good even though it was a buffet.
