Tai Yuan Seafood - Daly City

The food deserves a rating of no more than 2.5 stars. I’m not quite sure why some people consider it exceptional; it's decent, but certainly not a place I would choose for dinner. It’s just an average dim sum restaurant with nothing particularly special to recommend it. Unfortunately, I have to lower my rating to 2 stars. On a more positive note, I would suggest addressing the cleanliness of the restrooms. They had an unpleasant odor, suggesting they hadn’t been attended to in a few days, and the floor was sticky as I exited. If the food had been just mediocre, I probably wouldn’t have taken the time to write a review. I believe every restaurant deserves two chances to serve up good food. However, the lack of cleanliness in the restrooms is a significant concern for me.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I believe it's better than Koi Palace. As long as you don't mind, it doesn't stand out visually compared to some other restaurants.

Good quality food! All dishes we ordered were delicious. Recommend the chicken, pepper beef dish, and the Bak Choy dishes! Service were good and fast too! Will visit again if we are in the neighborhood.

Do not expect high creations of food, but good and reasonable. Very appreciate the honesty of management, as NO tips added is obviously with the notification. Unlike many places both Chinese American restaurants, customers are more creepy added to ALREADY 18% and the customer pays twice on tab...The service person has not already added advice from tips. Please give Tai Yuan a chance as it location is away from normal foot traffic, but they are good.

This dimm-sum restaurant meets all feelings. We arrived shortly after 1:00, which is after the lunch break. All the dishes came hot from the steamers, probably because we came after lunch. We ordered the usual articles when I dim sum with my family (ha gao, siu mai, fong zhou, lo mei gai, etc. . For three people this amount of food was just right.
