Both dinners I had red snapper, the first night was a daily special, which was a grated red snapper on mashed potatoes and a Verde Salsa, which was the main reason for another dinner. That was excellent and the best dinner in Placencia. My wife had the same dinner both nights that a chili and shrimp linguini pasta dinner she loved. It's a spicy dish, so if you like spicy, that's for you. This is a must-see dinner while in Placencia.
We went to Rumfish y Vino on Wednesday night for dinner. We arrived in low season and during COVID times at 730. They seemed to be one of the few restaurants that were open for dinner at the end of the peninsula. We sat on the outside veranda right away. I ordered the Chile and Shrimp Linguini, who was one of my favorite foods in Belize so far, and my friends ordered a burger and the mankousha with shrimps. Everyone enjoyed their food, but the mankousha could not be what you expect... it's like a healthy flatbread pizza. The service was great and it made for a nice chill dinner.
Absolutely excellent! The food was so good, we ate. A must in town.
I love the second story Open Air atmosphere. The service is excellent. Try the fish tacos. Deliciousness
Do yourself a favor and get the Rumfish lasagna! So, so good! Definitely a different vibe here than some of the other restaurants in the area. It feels a bit more swanky. The service was great and we really enjoyed our meals
