Danville Harvest

The hubby and I had a nice time. We liked the hushpuppies so much we ordered another round. Drinks were perfect, cold glasses each. Servers were engaging and on top of everything.

We loved the service and atmosphere. The poke bowl was fantastic and fresh! They have amazing iced-tea. We also got the Asian chicken salad, and jt was decent. The waitress was knowledgeable and super sweet!

The Harvest bowl was disappointing. Overwhelming amount of oil and fat with no salt or acidity to balance the flavors. It could benefit from some pickled red onions, lemon juice, oranges, ANY sort of citrus to compensate the otherwise unseasoned veggies doused in oil--left a greasy feeling. Hushpuppies and crabcakes were quite oily as well--forgiveable because they're fried, but paired with butter and mayo is overkill.
