Support this neighborhood gem. The food is good and the place is super cozy. Great service and great people.
Very cute place with delicious food. Went for Father’s Day brunch (buffet), and I would go back. I had to wait quite a bit until the host seated us, even though we had reservations. The servers were busy and no one came up to our table until I interrupted them, but our server was very friendly and came up to our table many times afterwards. The young chef who was cooking the omelette saws very rude to the servers and told them to all meet in the back, “I don’t care what they’re doing, I want all of them to meet in the back, now!” we’re his words. Felt uncomfortable as a guest. Overall food was great and we enjoyed our time.
We brought our family here for Fathers day brunch. It was unbelievably bad. Food mess all around the serving trays and floor, bathrooms were filthy, and several food trays empty of food, which we had to wait for them to refill. The eggs benedicts that finally showed up were hard as a rock with a poor excuse for a hollandaise sauce. I had to apologize to my family for recommending this place.
The Basil Leave is one of our favorite restaurants. Their brunch buffet is fabulous! The atmosphere is comfortable. Unfortunately, it is closing in a month to six weeks due to an ownership change. This is very disappointing to us.
