I owe it to the lack of good choice of restaurants in the south, what to people who do not know what tastes good Thai food. In any case, I paid over 12$ for a dish that essentially only under the season ironing roast, about 85% cabbage. Few chickens, maybe 4 mushrooms and a few carrot slices, but literally it was mostly just cabbage I mean, it was quite absurd. I searched my way because it was late and closes everything here early next to Fast Food, so I didn't have much choice. Apart from that, I was not told that a dimble size sauce was a fee of $1.00. You don't have nickel and dime here, they dollar and 50c here LOL. Save your money and taste buds and make better Thai food at home.
Teak House is the best Thai cuisine in Daphne, AL! That's a statement, but I promise you you won't be disappointed. Of course the pad Thai is so delicious! Many different ways you can order this, but we usually opt for shrimp or vegetarian (w/ tofu) or no meat (only noodles), medium spy. Huge portions! A escape is generous enough for two hungry people without extra pages, OR maybe 4 people with smaller portions. Next we love the traditional Citrus herbal soup (Thom Yum). The broth is brownish and tasteful, with a range of vegetables and a selection of meat. Personally, only the soup alone (no meat) is a great pairing with any dish, especially the pad Thai. If you enjoy appetizers, the Creamy Crab Wontons Fresh Egg reels always hit the point! Usually we order our food for our convenience. Orders are always prepared quickly and accurately. No problem to bring a taste of Thai to your home. Enjoy!
That was our third time here and finally eating. The service is okay, but the food quality is short. We had the Teriyaki shrimps and chickens. The shrimps were cooked and muddy, the chicken was hard and chew. It was a disappointing meal that I finally gave up eating here. It is really a nice restaurant and it will prepare you for a good meal, but it is not there.
We drove past this place to our hotel and we can smell the food! The next day, we were looking for a place to eat and decided to try this place as we had tried the other Thai location before. Don't be fooled from outside. The staff was great and our waiter definitely loved his job and knew taste!! Just reason I didn't give a 5 star was because they had nothing vegetarian for appetizers. We usually get spring rolls. The food was amazing and yes the roasted rice was delicious!! We had the drunk noodles with Tofu, which I recommend! Make sure to add something extra....you calculate .95cents! Our waiter suggested adding Cilantro, but I don't think I had anything at all. For .95cents you can get the whole bunch. So ask before you add or you could be meal. Portions were a good size. I usually eat spicy and the hot was not hot enough!! You do not have the imagination spice shelf like most locations, so you get the 1. Let's do it...when u like wicy... Thai hot is feasible.
I really enjoy going here. It is about a 45 minute drive but so worth it. It is well priced and the food is so good??. My favorite is the Chicken or Shrimp Pad Thai. The Drunken noodles is also another favorite however, everything we have tried has been really good. The portions are hearty and I usually bring home leftovers enough for a second meal. I have dined in and also have ordered take out. The service is great and the staff is friendly.
