Alexander's Cafe - Dapto

The coffee at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. If you're looking for a hot cup of water, then this is the place for you. However, if you're hoping for a good cup of coffee, this is not the place to go. This was without a doubt one of the worst cups of coffee I have ever had. I will not be returning to this restaurant again.

Was visiting show homes at Wongawilli and decided to stop for breakfast and coffee somewhere. Alexander’s cafe came up on Whereis map so we made our way there. First impression. Delightful if not quirky set up. Friendly staff. Had a large Coffee which tasted great and to say large is an understatement, it was huge. My wife and I decided to share a big breakfast which was also substantial. Everything on the plate tasted delicious and we were glad we shared as I wouldn’t have got through it myself. If you are ever down that way stop in and try it for yourself.

The cappuccino was not good. The milk was too hot, which ruined the coffee flavor. I ended up throwing it away after only three sips. Please don't advertise as the best coffee in Dapto.

My friend and I had lunch at this restaurant, we ordered toasted sandwiches and coffee. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow. The restaurant wasn't busy, so there was no rush.

I have been to Alexander’s for both take away and eat in, every single visit I’ve left happy and satisfied. The staff are genuinely welcoming and happy to help, if they’re busy serving they will acknowledge you which is appreciated. The food is always fresh and really quick, it’s the only place I trust if I’m in a rush. The atmosphere is comfortable and they have local artists’ work available for purchase which is lovely to see in times like this. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to have a good coffee and feed
