This is more a 3.5 stars. They're super nice here and they sell agar (crystal) boba!! I usually get an oolong milk tea to establish a baseline for a place. The drink felt a little too milky so it was hard to appreciate too much a tea flavor. I think that Tsaocaa does fruit teas and stuff a little better in general over milk teas. Will need to try some of the other drinks and see if they fair any better and maybe actually try the sushi to see if it's good? It honestly seems kinda weird to have a sushi and boba put together, but I guess Bubblefish also does it, so there's some hope!
I ordered the Rose Oolong Tea with less ice and 50% sugar. Their tea is slightly watered down but still retains the floral rose taste, and the boba was chewy, soft and just the right amount of sweet. They paired well together. However, the store does not have any seating and is pretty small fitting only 4-5 people at a time so not great for big groups.
We had the milk tea and it was great! Nice reusable cups too.
Me and my family had plan a park date for our little ones at Seger's Park. The first thing that I thought of was I need food, you can call me a pig lol. I yelped and found Tsaocaa and Sushi of South Street. And you know what makes it so gr8? It is right around the corner from Seger's Park, lord knows I don't like walking. I find it a bit odd to see sushi at a bubble tea shop but I guess shops are versatile these days. I ordered Watermelon Green Tea, Taro Milk Swirl, and Peach Tea with milkcaps. I didn't want to risk and order raw sushi, so I stick with cooked one just to be safe. Me and hubby also got Kamikaze roll, Futomaki roll, and Spicy Crab roll. The Taro Milk Swirl and Peach Tea with milkcaps were both delicious. While Watermelon Green Tea tastes more of Watermelon flavor candy rather than the fruit, which is not my favorite. All of the sushi rolls were delicious, our favorite is the kamikaze roll, we got 2 rolls of those and they were gone within minutes lol.
