I really wanted to write a good review as the lady works her butt off, tossing woks, answering phones, taking orders and payments, all on her own. But my beef and veges with peanut sauce was just tasteless. How can Thai food be tasteless? Plenty...More

Similar dining experience to a local restaurant you would see in Phuket.The price is very reasonable at around $8 for a main with a very large selection to choose from.It isn't the best Thai in Sydney however for a cheap and cheerful it hits the mark !No complaints considering the pricing !

This place used to be great value for money be has unfortunately gone downhill in terms of food and service. You could forgive either for the price but when both aren't firing it makes it difficult to give a good rating.

Reading some of the comments saying that the standard here has slipped is a shame. We're locals and have had lunch there on two occassions and the food has always been great! Despite the general shabbiness of the restaurant they have friendly service and have lunch deals on every day starting from only $8.00. I wouldn't recommend going here on a date, but if you want a cheap friendly takeaway or casual lunch spot, it's the place to be!

Having been a regular at the Best Thai Darlinghurst and was satisfied with the service, food and pricing point. 6 months on since my last visit and this was not the "Best Thai" more to the point a very big call and claim.Only one cook and a kitchen hand in the restaurant this time and it was at least 10mins before were asked what we wanted to order, regular favourites Soft Shell Crab and Grilled Salmon were ordered and a tom yum soup.These three items took over 30mins to come to the table, the salmon was sent to the wrong table initially then given to us. All the three items were unpalatable and really below standard. A really disappointing dining experience and most likely the last time to visit this restaurant indefinately.
