I had the avo toast which was delicious and it didn't break the bank! The standout is definitely the coffee and service. Both staff were very friendly. Looking forward to trying the Rueben Sandwich, someone ordered it, and it smelt amazing!
Can't remember where I saw the article, but it was recommended as a top 10 coffee shop in Sydney. With all the great and big name coffee shops in Sydney, it was nice to see a small owner operator coffee shop on the list. Coffee Bar by Espresso'd is a cosy shop located on the corner of Oxford and Crowd st. The staff are friendly and the shop is always filled with regulars coming in and out. When trying out a new coffee shop I normally order a latte just to have something familiar to compare with other shops. The latte was creamy, smooth, and strong, just the way I like it. I also order the halloumi, sundried tomato, and rocket salad on toast. This thing was big! Two slices of sour dough, two thick slices of halloumi, plenty of sundried tomatoes, and rocket, and it only cost me $11 or 13. Can't remember exactly but I remember it being so cheap. Most of those big name brunch spots charge $11 for some avocado on 1 slice of sourdough. Overall, Coffee Bar is a hidden gem and I can't stop raving about it. It's everything you want from a coffee shop without the hefty price tag. PS: they've got Vietnamese coffee, will try it out next time!

Great coffee using 5 senses coffee beans. Small space with limited seating but friendly service and passionate barista. Suitable for take away or a quick bite to eat in. simonfoodfavourites.blogspot.com
Coffee Bar by Espresso'd is a speciality coffee shop without the pretentious attitude that's normally linked to good speciality coffee. I ordered a latte and it was nice and creamy with the right amount of kick. The beans are measured with a scale before grind. The menu is limited but cheap and tasty. The avo on toast was seasoned well and the radish gave the dish a nice texture. Will be back!
