These are Hungarian in origin, but for us they're reminiscent of the trdelniks we had in Prague. In reality they are extremely similar so it's understandable.
Love this place! Love the concept of how they serve their cakes by the gram so you can try a bit of everything! They have a massive range of cakes
Heard of these chimney bread from a friend! Kurtosh was on my to-do list for my brief work stint in Sydney! What can I say! Lovely soft bread! I got the pistachio and almond ones, both delish! They were sweet, but lovely with a cup of coffee! Can't wait to go back again and try a few more goodies from here!
Kurtosh is a definite winner. I myself not being a massive sweet tooth can appreciate the effort and craftsmanship that goes into these desserts. Pictured below: baked raspberry cheesecake, caramel slab(? and a white chocolate roulade (all $10 . Out of the selection, I enjoyed the cheesecake the most, it had a great texture and a light raspberry flavour that balanced well with the flavour of cheese. The variety here is outstanding and priced reasonably. You can really find something for every occassion whether that be for a quick pick-me-up or celebrating a special occasion.
Is just sensational. I can’t come to this place to often. Is so easy to get fat. Is great for sitting for desert or afternoon tea arvo. Impossible to get bored. All sort of things to choose. Is not really that pricey. But yes around Darlinghurst road and all that area. Nothing beats this place. Yummy pastry big tummy. As an alternative point of reference is a great place to cheer u up. No sad faces after eating here, perhaps regrets yes. Mirror regret next morning
