Food is good and prices are reasonable. Near to CBD. Used to go for dinner regularly. The staff is welcoming and the entire setup gives you a feel of Punjab
Do not be put off by the bain marie , I usually am, but a lot of traffic goes through this place so the dishes are refreshed regularly. It's no frills, but this place makes seriously good curries. Great value too, 3 choices with rice for $10.50 large size. And it really is large, looking around the restaurant everyone has a huge mound of food in front of them.I had the goat masala, allo eggplant and chicken madras. I also got the mango chutney and yogurt, condiments which took the curries to another level.Just close your eyes if you have to, order and eat you will enjoy it.
Its very good value for money and decently tasty. It's cheap indian take out. You can get a chicken tikka wrap for like $6 and you will be full. And if you get 3 meat curries with rice its less than $10.<br/ <br/ Its big bold strong flavours, don't expect delicate flavours or finesse.
Best in town... Drive from central coast for it..lol
