The Burger Joint - Darlinghurst

So,I've been here a few times and the burgers never disappoint. However I thought I'd go a bit different this time and order the Cesar salad WITH GRILLED CHICKEN.Guess what.... NO CHICKEN!I'd ordered this before and the same issue so I thought I'd give it a second chance to see if it was a once off...Nope. No chicken AGAIN. If that what's advertised then excuse me for expecting it.Not feeling like I'll be ordering again in a hurry for anything off the menu.Ta'ra!

Recuerdo estas hamburguesas con mucho gusto! Fueron las mejores que probé en Australia, buena variedad, simples ingredientes y comida fresca. El concepto del lugar me gusta mucho, es bonito, y bien ubicado!Tienen delivery y trabajan hasta tarde :)Cheers

This place just does great burgers, The guy behind the grill looks straight out of 'Happy Days' or a burger joint from the 50's. This place delivers delicious American style burgers and fries and over delivers in value, which is difficult to find in Sydney. The place itself is a little worn out and small, but who cares the food is great. They also do other things like Mexican and fried chicken as a special.

I have been a regular at both outlets for about five years. Always reliable and good value, with a large (maybe too large) menu. But they have changed their buns. Rather than large old fashioned hamburger bread rolls, they now have these small (so overall burger size has been downsized), shiny, sweetish, girly bread rolls. Bring back the old bread rolls please. I don't like burgers with cake. Won't be going back for a while.

Had a group of friends over and needed food fast, pizza was the obvious option. Ordered through Uber Eats. We chose the Porkies ($24), Otropo ($23.50), Vegan Suprema ($26.50) and Amalfi ($24) pizzas. The pizza bread is a bit different, it seems almost deep fried. It was a tad oily. The toppings were good and decent flavour. I'd have to say the best was the Amalfi pizza with garlic prawns, was really tasty and wish we ordered two of these. The Porkies was also pretty good. We got the Romano base which was recommended for delivery, maybe the super thin would have been better. Total $98.
