We stayed in a beautiful room and enjoyed snacks, drinks and dinner. There was a choice of a tasty traditional cooked breakfast or a few lighter options. Delicious food!
We arrived for afternoon tea and were directed down the corridor and turn left. Not the lounge as we were expecting as stated on the website. It was a bit dark in the room and as it was a sunny day asked if we could eat outdoors. We were told no at first then the girl said they would bring everything out. The afternoon tea was excellent and plentiful. We didn’t order a drink when we ordered as wasnt sure what we would fancy on the day. We decided to have Prosecco which was more expensive than champagne. As we were having afternoon tea we didn’t expect to be charged this much extra. The staff were brilliant and had it been a day to spend indoors we would have preferred the lounge. Of course there was a wedding on so couldn’t of gone in there. So I can only suggest you don’t go for afternoon tea when there is a wedding.
Beautiful meal with plenty to choose from. Well worth the money and the added bonus of being able to visit the Birds of Prey centre in the same grounds.
