After being disappointed by a nearby hotel that dropped us off only 40 minutes before service, we were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us and we enjoyed a delicious meal with outstanding service.

Fantastic experience! We reserved a table at the Fox and Hounds to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family and friends. There were 25 of us in the party, and we had pre-ordered our starters and main courses. Upon arrival, we were seated in the conservatory with tables arranged in a horseshoe shape so we could all interact easily. The staff had beautifully decorated the tables and set up our cake on a separate table for later. Our pre-ordered food was served promptly by friendly and efficient staff, with no complaints from any of us. There was a slight delay with one dish, but it was explained that the chef wanted to ensure it was perfect before serving it to us. Desserts were ordered on the night, and my wife and I shared a delicious crumble that left us too full to finish. Kaleigh, the manager, and her team were incredibly welcoming and friendly, ensuring the event ran smoothly without any issues. We highly recommend this restaurant and have already made reservations for our Christmas Day lunch before leaving, as we were so impressed with our experience.

We had a table for 8 for lunch at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the service was impeccable. The food was delicious, especially the fishcake, which was the best I've ever tried. The location is beautiful. We want to thank the staff for a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

The best freshly cooked food with a varied menu. not only pub grub, but beautiful special. we eat here practically every Saturday, nice eating, friendly, professional staff and the best location on the river tees.

Love eating atmosphere and service... sun seemed so that the river also looked at its best. Can't believe I haven't before, but believe it now. I'll be back.
