The Fox Hole - Darlington

I stumbled upon this pub by chance and decided to check it out from the outside. The following week, we returned, but the bartender informed us they didn't start serving food until 6 PM. So, we took some time to look over the menu. I’m not a fan of seafood, but I ended up enjoying the beer-battered cauliflower. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant opened right on time!

I visited a restaurant today for a change of pace, and I was pleasantly surprised. While the menu is small, it is truly excellent. The fish finger sandwich was the best I've ever had. The staff were incredibly sweet and attentive, but not overbearing. I definitely plan to return for a second visit with my dogs, and we'll sit outside in the garden so they can enjoy a dog treat too.

This is a fantastic restaurant! The staff was lovely, and the food was exquisite! I highly recommend the chocolate orange dessert!

Amazing bar, great staff with lots of know about all products (food and drinks.) varied menu and very high quality food and service. will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch here yesterday. The Sunday roast platter was amazing!! And a big thank you to the lovely staff who took such good care of us and particularly to my mother who is recovering from an operation and was in her wheelchair Highly recommend.
