Feedback gevenOur experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. Despite making a reservation through Opentable, there was no record of it when we arrived. We had to wait for 30 minutes to be seated, even though the staff claimed they were busy, the restaurant seemed quiet. It took a long time to order drinks, one of which was served in a dirty glass, and even longer to receive our food. The portion sizes of the calamari were inconsistent and the Bratbeef dish only included two small pieces of beef. After we finished our meal, no one cleared our table and the staff were nowhere to be found in the restaurant. We had to search for them in the bar. It took a total of 3.5 hours to serve a party of four, which was disappointing especially since we had family visiting with young children from Leeds.
The food was excellent. The chef's beef and pork cake was fantastic. The staff were friendly and talkative. The view of the river from the restaurant was peaceful and enjoyable as we dined.

After finishing our mains, no one came to clear our table and the staff disappeared from the restaurant. We had to search for them in the bar. It took 3.5 hours for four people to be served two courses, which was not acceptable. This experience was especially disappointing as my family had traveled from Leeds with two young children.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. The beef and pork pie made by the chef was delicious. The staff is friendly and talkative. The view of the river from the restaurant is very peaceful and adds to the overall dining experience.
