Bedouin - Darmstadt

Unfortunately, my last meal cost me 140€, even if I only ate a little bit. I had forgotten my sunglasses and still called the same day to ask if they were found. A friendly waitress told me a guest found it and gave it up, I could pick it up anytime. As I went on holiday the following day, I agree with the person by phone that I can pick them up only in 2 weeks, they would be kept behind the counter. When I wanted to pick them up as agreed, especially for this reason from Frankfurt to Darmstadt, nobody could find the glasses. I left my address, you assured me the glasses had to be somewhere in the restaurant and they were sent with the mail. Unfortunately, this has not happened either (which can happen in some way to this point and has not voted very unrestrained) instead I call a few weeks later and one of the managing directors declares to me that he cannot verify (so indirectly does not accuse me of telling the truth in this context), he knows nothing about it and he would not replace it. I don't know who took this in himself, but apparently it must have been someone from the staff, after all the glasses were somewhere behind the counter. Apart from that, the food was really only medium and the wine was overpriced (at least for it to be clearly tasted for cork). Therefore, I can only recommend to anyone who wants to avoid this place. Betray with cheap fuss on the tank, buy yourself bifi when you're hungry, but don't go here.

The Bedouin was once a top restaurant. Unfortunately, the kitchen is no longer as top as it was. But you still sit there very nice and the service is friendly. To sit outside in summer or spring very nice. The staff is very friendly. On the menu there are mainly drinks, but also a few dishes. I had the falafels that were really delicious. However, the portions could be slightly larger for prices. But we got some bread, which was very nice. The chairs outside are unfortunately quite uncomfortable. Otherwise definitely nice there. You don't have stools, but somehow you have a really nice atmosphere there. I would come back : Vegetarian options: Self-made Falafeln
