Always very, very happy eating: 5 service: 5 atmosphere: 5.
Our first visit to the gourmet restaurant Kucher’s could not fulfill our expectations. the start with mixed nuts and a cracker with Washabi cream, followed by warm rolls with simple butter and salt is not the expectation of a star restaurant. also the greeting from the kitchen could not convince us. the following 4-5 courses did not correspond to the level of a gourmet restaurant and we have already eaten significantly better dishes in other upscale restaurants without star. the change of a disk within the menu was possible after the statement of service power and no problem as there was another disk from the menu. but then a price was calculated, although the dishes were standard in the menu. my wife has already canceled and ordered a sorbet for it, this was an intermediate product in the menu, but was also calculated with a price. at the end they get only 3 steps instead of 4 walks and one pass, but pays the whole menu and another hit up. the service was good and mostly attentive, only the explanation of the individual walks was somewhat blunt. the wine card is qualitatiw and quantitatiw at an upper level and the recommended was also in order. for us, however, the foods are more important in a gourmet restaurant, and these have not convinced us and were not at the level of a star restaurant. with the performance you cannot expect to visit again.
Last week my friend and I had the evening meal on the terrace of Kucher’s wine industry. it was a beautiful summer evening and our expectations were highly tensed, because cheek also has a gourmet restaurant with 1 michelin star. Our expectations were unfortunately not fulfilled except for the good wein. first, the service was robotic and we were hardly welcomed as esteemed guests. we were still disappointed by the main course we had: the tasty rabbit ragout in riesling velouté on a fairy risotto with dried tomatoes. the rabbit ragout had hardly tasted and was completely dominated by much too salty risotto. the risotto was also inadequately cooked (because I don't mean al dente) and included a large amount of melted cheese. Moreover, although the pale blue used had produced a corresponding green color, otherwise its specific, delicate taste was lost by the excessive salt and, unfortunately, would be completely lost. a technical fauxpas, which should not be met at this level. after a commentary of our side, the risotto was brought back to the kitchen so that the chef could taste the one himself. a little later, the news came that the risotto is loud chef in order, a somewhat stranger sequence, because at the end the opinion of the gastes counts. However, it was offered to prepare a new and less salty risotto. We were of course in agreement with this offer. this risotto came surprisingly fast on the table and was less salty, but now less cooked than at the first time. No wonder of course, because the preparation of a good risotto takes time. After dinner we saw the chef passing by various tables and heard him asking if everything had been in order. Unfortunately he did not visit our table so this was our first and last visit at kucher.
I was extremely impressed by the creativity, preparation, presentation and the very high quality of the menu. my absolute recommendation for this restaurant. five stars are not enough. service: dine in meal type: lunch
