The Plough Inn Eynsford - Dartford

While the fork reminded me of my booking, the restaurant had not accepted the booking and there was no table. They managed to fit us in, because there was hardly anyone there! So uncertain if there was a problem in the restaurant.? The food was nice.

Although we have booked online and received e-mail and text confirmation, the Plough had no record of our booking, which was a bit embarrassing as it was a birthday meal. Unfortunately, their heating was broken up so that most of my meals with my coat. Except the staff and food nice.

The restaurant is located in a very picturesque setting on the river with outdoor tables and chairs for when the weather is good. The food was excellent, we had the chicken and bridal cake, followed by apple and dammson crumble and custard. The service was very good.

Went here tonight and had a nice table with river view. Food was very good and so was the service. Can’t fault it. Will be going back again. Was good value aswell.

We always go back to the Plough because we know the food is excellent and the staff are attentive. Today we had to wait nearly an hour for our food due to the restaurant being busy, however the food was still very good.
