The Rose - Dartford

I went to this restaurant to book a Wake for my stepmother's funeral and ended up staying for a late lunch. The menu was great, offering proper pub lunch options with good portions and very tasty food at a reasonable price. The service was also excellent. The restaurant had a very nice garden area as well. Angela provided refreshments for the Wake at a brilliant cost, and the food included exceeded my expectations. Overall, it's a lovely little pub located off the beaten track of Dartford Town centre. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

You really cannot beat The Rose Sunday roast. Beautiful home cooked food and plentiful portions. Never disappoints! Cheerful and helpful staff too. Can’t recommend enough.

You haven’t lost your touch. Always a great Sunday Roast and a friendly welcome awaits at the Rose. We came up from Wiltshire to share lunch with family and I just wish you were closer as the food and atmosphere was great. See you soon Ian Jill
