The Coffee Club Café - Darwin

Popular eatery during the day with shoppers and local businesses. Indoor aircon or el fresco dining available. On this visit, I chose the roast pumpkin salad with haloumi, poached egg, cherry tomatoes, spinach and tortilla chips. The sweet potato was undercooked and hard. The haloumi while warm was not toasty and a boring rubbery blob. The tortilla chips were absent and only came when requested bit they were disappointing too.Coffee Club you can do better.

Our order was missed and they did not realise it until we told the staff. Staff were nice and friendly, but it seemed like they did not think it was a problem. We did not get any apology or explanation. Obviously our order was missed for whatever reason, as other customers came late, finished their meal and gone already. We waited 30min for not getting anything and another 15min waiting for our food after we told them. Friends sitting at the same table already finished their food already.Such a disappointment.

Food took far too long, chicken over cooked, bacon undercooked, lack of sauce. Waiter originally gave wrong meal and had to take it back. Burgers are not hard guys, be better.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. I ordered Avo on toast with an addition of mushrooms. Didn't have to wait long, I love how they're loaded on the avocado and feta, and didn't do anything like other coffee clubs where I was. Coffee was excellent. My partner had the eggs Benny, they were perfect.

Friendly and fast service, delicious vegan avo toast, inexpensive and located in a beautiful location.
