The Vue - Darwin

I arrived at 6:00, desperately in need of a coffee after a rather chaotic tour of the botanical gardens. As a tourist, I was completely lost and exhausted. Fortunately, the lovely waiter Dominic offered me a seat outside, and we enjoyed a pleasant conversation. I ordered the pistachio and berries dessert along with a cappuccino, and both were absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be returning for dinner. Thank you!

This was our second time dining at Vue, and it was just as delightful as the first. We were greeted promptly by friendly staff and quickly shown to our table. The food arrived in a timely manner and was perfectly cooked and delicious. I would definitely eat there again.

We had dinner at the buffet for $26 on Tuesday and returned for the $39 buffet on Thursday. Both days featured a wide variety of dishes, including soup, salad, shrimp, hot options (meat, vegetables, fish, pasta, and an array of sauces), along with free soft drinks. The main difference on Thursday was a slightly larger selection of salad, meat, and oysters. The desserts were fantastic! On Tuesday, there were many different cakes that were simply delicious. Thursday offered cake, a chocolate fountain, a greater variety of fruit, and ice cream! Both buffets are definitely worth a visit, and I’m sure we will return to Vue if we find ourselves back in Darwin. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that they didn’t play any music, which was a bit disappointing.

The food was steamed, pour yarns and ginger and shrimp and scallop, chips and vegetable spring rolls. Fast friendly service from our waiter, Baghti. Great way to spend a Sunday

Went for my birthday lunch., Service was speedy. Bar service was good. Meals came out hot n enjoyable. Would have been nice to get attention of the waiter to order desserts but not to be. Won 3/4 of meal back from pokies.
