Barton G. The Restaurant Miami Beach

For years we made the effort to dine at Barton G while away on vacation. This year we were excited to share the experience with our 3 kids. While the food was still excellent, everything else was sub par. The waiter offered kids lemonades to start the meal which we learned when receiving the bill they cost $54. The runner pulled away the food presentations before we could even pull out a camera to enjoy the experience. The dollar bill dessert was cold and barely worth the $45 that once actually tasted like $100 . The women 's bathroom floor was soaking wet and my wife almost fell, if she didn 't grab hold of a door fast enough. Then when waiting for my car while holding my sleeping child in my arms, and AFTER paying the $25 valet charge, the valet decided to take 3 other patrons behind us who apparently paid $60 parking tip . Quite classless and left me zero desire to provide a cash tip even once they eventually pulled the car up. What was once an exquisite culinary dining experience seems to have turned into a tourist trap looking to take advantage of whomever is distracted by a sparkling plate. Very disappointing experience for what was once THE restaurant we always RAVED about for friends to experience.

Fabulous experience! Definitely go for the experience. The food was average, nothing crazy special taste wise, but the actual presentation and vibe were great!! Highly recommend for that alone!

Wonderful experience Dined there for my birthday, enjoyed the ambience, the food was great, and the dessert. We ordered the seafood bath, short ribs, and dolla dolla bill! Highly recommend this place for your special occasions!

My friends and I had a fantastic time. The nitro drinks were delicious. The appetizers were very tasty. The entrée 's were delectable. We were so full we didn 't get to enjoy dessert. I will definitely come again on my next trip back to Miami. Our server Richard was impeccable. He catered to out every request.

The service was terrible. Server never checked back to see if food was cooked properly. Took over 20 minutes to get our first drink. Dessert was ordered with vanilla and chocolate ice cream. It only had chocolate ice cream. Server only came by to present bill. Would not recommend or ever go back
