Kushiya serves great food. Great service. The owner has been able to recreate traditional japanese flavors while using alternative local ingredients and avoiding pricey imported ones in order to keep prices affordable.

If you walk round the little square of shops and businesses where the Kushiya Japanese Restaurant is located you will be struck by the fact how busy it always seems to be. I decided to eat out there and find out why.. Well the answer became obvious, this place provides authentic wholesome Japanese style food at reasonable prices and the the portion sizes are the largest I have ever seen in my life The appearance of this restaurant is basic as are the others in this area, but the food is good.
