Lagomarcino’s Confectionery

Absolutely wonderful chocolate and confectionery shop! We were stopping in on our way back home to Chicago and we are so glad that we stumbled upon this wonderful store. The staff were so friendly and helpful ... they made all of our choices even that much more sweet. And wow! The chocolates were absolutely fantastic! I really appreciate that they offered the ability to make your own specialty chocolates box, and they had many of the spring and Easter items prepackaged and ready to Grab Go. I got many items to fill our Easter baskets

Lago's is THE place to get ice cream in the Quad Cities. Some people swear by Whitey's, while it is true they have more flavors, their ice cream isn't anything out of the ordinary. Lago's makes unique sundaes with their amazing homemade hot fudge. My personal favorite being the Bachelor's Kiss (pictured below). This place doesn't get the recognition it deserves, it is amazing there is literally no reason not to go there. Just go and you'll love it as much as I do.

I’m pretty sure you might find a WonKa Candy bar here with a golden ticket! It’s a real gem throwback candy shop. I had a grilled cheese sandwich that was delicious and a banana split. Dark Chocolate candies were sooo good! A must visit while in town.

This place is magnificent!! Such a cute area and store! Myself and my family stopped by here for the first time a few months ago! Just delicious ice cream and shakes!! Tall guy at the counter was pleasant and made a hell of a shake!!!! We will be back!!!

Great little shop! I would have appreciated a more extensive selection of chocolates, particularly dark chocolate. There's a cozy café inside and they offer some homemade ice cream too. They have a wide variety of candied treats, but I'm unsure about how natural they are or what ingredients are used.
