The restaurant has a lot to live up to by claiming to be the home of the best Philly cheese steak. They certainly put in the effort. While their signature cheese steaks are quite tasty, whether they are the best is still debatable. However, if you're looking for something better than average cheese steaks, along with bowls, wraps, and salads served quickly, all in a clean and pleasant atmosphere away from Philadelphia, this is the spot for you. The food is enjoyable, the environment is great, and the service is excellent, all of which enhance the overall experience. They also offer nice features, such as a variety of choices and sauces, allowing you to customize your meal.

My first visit here was pretty decent! The highlight was definitely the Philly cheesesteak and the cheese fries with pepperjack cheese sauce—they were amazing! However, there were a few downsides. The cook seemed a bit grumpy and wasn't very friendly. The open kitchen concept is nice, but only if the kitchen is spotless; I noticed some areas that looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. On a positive note, the girl at the register was very pleasant, although I did see her wearing flip-flops, which I believe isn't permitted in food service. Lastly, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant could use some improvement. There was only a table of three people and myself at the time, yet several tables were dirty and the garbage at the condiment station was overflowing. Overall, I would consider eating here again and give them a second chance.

After our meal, I did notice some reviews mentioning issues with cleanliness or broken items at this location. I spotted a small detail that could be improved, but overall, the restaurant felt clean and well-maintained. Our total for lunch was $26. While PepperJax is generally on the pricier side for me, their prices are quite comparable to similar restaurants in the area.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant last night. We arrived at 8:56 PM, just before they closed at 9 PM during the week, but they never made us feel unwelcome because of our late arrival. The sandwiches were fantastic and quite large! We also enjoyed the Au Jus bar where you can help yourself. On top of all that, the manager, Samantha, was wonderful. She was friendly and took the time to chat with us, which we really appreciated. The food was excellent, and we will definitely be returning!

We ordered the chicken burritos, and my son chose one with the spicy ranch. The girls really enjoyed their corn dog kids' meals (the batter can be hit or miss, but it was done perfectly here). My husband had the Philly bowl, which was also fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and everything really hit the spot! Thank you!
