The service was very friendly, although a bit slow to assist us, despite being the only table she had. Overall, the food was well prepared. We visited for breakfast, and the menu was pleasantly straightforward, which we appreciated. The spicy Bloody Mary was great. My main issue was the amount of grease at the bottom of my Midwest bowl.

We waited quite a long time for our bill—around 20 minutes—until a manager from the Current noticed our dissatisfaction and prompted our waitress to bring the check. She apologized, explaining that she was so busy that she lost track of us. It was frustrating to see other staff members hanging around, chatting. I've never skipped leaving a tip for servers before, but that night I did. On a positive note, the décor and ambiance were pleasant, and the salsa and guacamole were quite good.

This restaurant has an incredible menu featuring healthy Mexican dishes made with quality ingredients. Viva is truly the quintessential taco spot! They offer fantastic lunch options, with complete meals including a soda for $10 or less! I tried the two taco special, opting for one grilled fish taco and one fried fish taco. The combination of two delicious fish tacos, served with rice and beans and a soda, cost me just $10 for lunch. They also have a three-taco meal deal available for $15. Without a doubt, this is the best value for a pescatarian meal in downtown!

I noticed other staff members standing nearby, chatting instead of helping. Overall, I’ve never failed to leave a tip for service before, but this experience was disappointing. On the bright side, the decor and ambiance of the restaurant are beautiful, and I must mention that the salsa and guacamole were quite good.
