China 84 Chinese Take-out - Davie

If this place ends up closing down, it 's their own fault. We live in Davie, and we love to frequent small businesses. I recently retired from a small restaurant after 17 years, so I put my money where my mouth is.We decided to try this restaurant. We drove to the location with the intent of ordering from them. When we arrived, the door was locked. We were searching all the info on the door to see if they were open. A lady appeared and finally came to the door. We said that we were new customers. She was extremely rude and abrupt. She said look at menu then call. I replied that it was really hot outside and that we wanted to come in and order. She said, in broken English, Florida is very hot. I replied that I am aware since I was born here. I stated that we just wanted to come in and order food. She slammed the door in our faces and locked it.After my experience, I read the reviews. It seems as though the rude lady mentioned throughout the reviews is possibly the owner. Perhaps they do not wish to stay in business? I cannot begin to fathom any other reason for such rudeness, and the fact that they are so willing to turn away any potential customers. My advice is stay away!

Fried rice is great, the crackers you get with your combos are fantastic had the honey garlic chicken, dip comes in separate container. Pork egg rools are incredible as well.

I was asking a question about delivery and the employees shut the door in my face and caught an attitude. Horrible service

The food is pretty good but the service is awful. You'd also think with a big sign that says mobile orders only on the front door that they would answer the phone yet alas, they do not. In fact, after letting you ring for a multitude of minutes they promptly hang up on you. Honestly if it wasn't for the food this place is a flat 1.
