Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies - Davis

I noticed the "Fried Pie" sign from the highway several times through the years on different vacations. Curiosity finally caught me and saw what this is about pieces. Wow, what a selection of Sweet to Savory they have covered you. Pizza filled, Polish potato with sauce, so many possibilities. Each cake is made to order, fresh. They wait 10 minutes for a piping hot nice tanned mini halfcake. It is about the size or a calzone — great value spent on money. We tried Chicken Veggie, Chicken Broccoli, Spinach and Bacon-Egg cheese. I wish I had tried the sweet cakes, but I think I have a reason to get back to Kansas City on my way back. I have to mention that they're a little creepy. They are served in a paper bag, but a paper plate with a fork could be more beautiful. Our were soft in the center because of the generous filling. Absolutely delicious. Very recommended and goes back.

My husband and I both had the hearty polish sausage fried with potatoes, which was freshly cooked to order. Then I got a cherry and peach roasted cake for later to go. They were all very delicious! We sat outside in the shade on a picnic table to enjoy our cakes. Great place!

I got a snack here. Looking for a new FAVORITE PLACE TO GO FRIED PIES! I live in DFW Texas and will suggest that we drive this stop to our motorcycle groups for cake day. This is HANDS Down the best roasted cake I've ever eaten in my 53 years. You have everything and everything it is worth. I sit in the shadow with Beth eating fried cakes as I enter this review. We've eaten so far. Pizza cake and now 2 chicken pots.. The crust is the best thing I've ever eaten in my life, eating fried cakes. Make yourself and your children, grandchildren and their children a favor and make this your main stop for fried cakes... I have to eat the apricot, peach, cherry and Apple while we go back to TX. Arbuckle Moutain Fried Pies has the best fried cakes I've ever eaten. This place is in Davis, Oklahoma. It is a small place in what seems like the middle of nothing. The fried cakes come in many sweet flavors as well as "no sugar added flavors. They also serve the speciality roasted cakes such as bacon and egg and other vegetables. Good to stop.

Ordered apple and peach and OMGosh the filling is sweet and delicious and wrapped around a warm buttery flakey crust. You guys ruined my diet but I don’t even care! I’ll be back whenever we visit OK!
