This market has received numerous regional farm awards and is known for its reliability, operating rain or shine. The market offers a wide variety of locally grown products such as nuts, rice, and more, as well as a selection of delicious local treats including apple juice, hummus, bread, dried fruits, jams, and more. The samples are generous, and for those looking for more substantial fare, there are stands offering great vegan options like vegan pho, veggie dogs, Indian food, and much more. Wednesday nights are more geared towards a family night out with plenty of food vendors and entertainment, while Saturday mornings are the best time to go for fresh food selections (although I would still recommend Wednesday if you happen to be in the area).

In addition, they offer delicious locally made items such as apple juice, hummus, bread, dried fruits, jams, and more. The selection is plentiful, and for those who want more, there are stands that offer great vegan options. My personal favorite is the vegan food (dogs) they serve on Wednesday nights. The atmosphere on Wednesday nights is more relaxed, like a family night out with more food stands and entertainment. However, Saturday mornings are also a great time to visit for those looking to purchase fresh produce (although I would still recommend going on Wednesday if you can).
A well-sized farmer market with local, organic fruits and vegetables, as well as various other vegan options including brot and spreads. the live music makes fun especially on Wednesday when we can put in the grass and enjoy the sunny, warm afternoon. there are also food levels, but we didn't try them. we visited davis for a couple of weeks, but we ensured that every time we were here we went to the farmer market because it is so great. we especially liked the pfirsiche, Thai ingwer, saltyrose brot, and baba ganoush spread. update dez 2021: it seems that live music is no longer there, probably due to COVID restrictions updated by the previous review on 2019-09-14
This is a lovely peasant market with a good selection of local, organic fruits and vegetables, as well as vegan options like bread and spreads. Wednesday is a particularly fun day to visit, as there is live music to enjoy while lounging in the grass on a sunny afternoon. We didn't try the food stands, but we made sure to visit the market every time we were in Davis during our few weeks there. Our favorite items were the peaches, Thai ginger, saltyrose bread, and baba ganoush. As of December 2021, it appears that live music is no longer available, likely due to COVID restrictions.
