Jack In The Box - Davis

The food was delivered very quickly and did not taste old or frozen. It was pretty decent overall.

The Grilled Sourdough Swiss Breakfast Sandwich was not good. The meats were overcooked, salty, and had a rancid smell. The bacon was burned in some sections. The eggs were oily and the portion size was small even though we paid extra for additional eggs. The Two Tacos were also very greasy. Overall, it was not what we expected.

I had a terrible experience with my order at this restaurant. The chicken nugget batter was undercooked, with only one side being fried for a very short time. Who wants a soggy outer coating on their chicken nuggets? The sauces were also distasteful. If possible, I would give this place zero stars.

The quality of the food at this restaurant is still really good, but the prices have gone up and the portion sizes have gotten smaller. The staff members are fantastic, though. When they were out of teriyaki sauce, one of the employees went above and beyond by giving me a cup filled with some sauce to make up for it. She definitely deserves a raise for her exceptional service. This kind of experience is what keeps people coming back to places like this, despite the higher prices. However, I was surprised to see that the size of the chicken teriyaki bowl has significantly decreased since my last visit.

This Jack in the Box location in downtown Davis does not offer breakfast items at night, two tacos, or milkshakes. They were out of pretty much everything I requested from the menu. I ended up ordering a jumbo Jack with cheese, but they forgot the cheese and still charged me for it. I didn't realize the mistake until I got home and couldn't reach them on the phone to correct it. Lesson learned - I should have just cooked at home instead of opting for fast food.
