Big John Steak Onion - DAVISON

We always stop here when we come back to Michigan! To bad there isn't a few of them in KC!!

The older lady is friendly and seems to know what she 's doing. The young girls need some common sense though. I ordered 8 steak, green pepper, and cheese with no bread. The young girl put it in a cup instead of a bowl ??‍ I just paid over $9 for a small cup of meat. When I said something about it, the young girl looked confused. The older lady said, Did they put it in a glass again? So it 's happened before. I took it and left before I said something that would probably have her crying. I 'm So disappointed in this restaurant. At least it is clean inside.

Got two steaks on the other day and they were absolutely delicious. Service is great everyone was really friendly. Will definitely be back to this location. This is the best location around the flint locations have went downhill don't waste your time going to any of them. This location is the best always getting treated like family and our subs are always hot and fresh. Also the store is very clean and well kept up on. Only thing is the parking is a little bit of a hassle but other than that this store is the best one around. We will definitely be back food is great. Definitely recommend 5/5

Hate to be tough on this restaurant, Big John 's always has been a safe 'go to ' for a great Steak sub. But, unfortunately my take away order was missing my side dish of Mac Cheese. Before leaving I asked girl behind counter if she had put the side in my bag, and she said yes. I ordered the largest sub with multiple cups of peppers and red sauce, so bag was pretty full. Also had my drink in other hand, so couldn 't open to look through. I should have double checked, but thought asking her directly she would know. Nope! No Mac Cheese. When I called they said I could come back or return a different day to get it. Honestly, that isn 't enough to avoid a bad review. They definitely should have offered to replace my entire meal for ruining this meal, and inconvenience of returning on another day to pick up a side. Right? There was a 2nd order on the counter, so assuming she put in wrong bag, but that 's not my fault. When asking her, she should have double checked her work.
