We have been absolute fans of the Schatzalp for over 30 years. Today again at Snow Beach in spring weather with well-known faces in service. The pea and mint soup was very delicious, as was the club sandwich with buttery duck breast. It's a fine place here, but we can see the signs of time, the many changes of management, the downgraded offers for hotel guests that are perhaps no longer competitive? That makes us think. This place is a place of power and must be preserved.
Unfortunately the restaurant is very disappointing. (Too bad as the hotel is great) The food wasn't well seasoned, the portions were too small for the price and some of them weren't even that hot. The breakfast is also very manageable. The cheese was rather boring, the bread was probably baked bread, pineapple and grapefruit as fruit in midsummer, and nothing was labeled. What a pity. Such a great hotel and such a weak gastronomy.
