Friendly service. Good food. The fish and chips now have quite a reputation with the locals. Being away from the busy tourist area makes for easy parking and quick service.

Well drained. Moist fish, crisp chips. Friendly service. Simply the best. We have this meal every few months or so and always go back her.

It is what it is…..and it is excellent takeaway! My husband and I were walk-in customers. We were in the mood for fast-food takeaway, and that's what we got! We ordered scallops, flake, and chips. The $4.00 Minimum Chips was a really large order of french-fries which we shared. The flake was fantastic, and so were the scallops. The batter was beautiful, not greasy, and just a bit crunchy. Yum! We visited around 5:30 p.m. on a Saturday. There were no other customers when we arrived, but several came and went after picking up their orders while we were waiting. Apparently, the other customers had phoned-in their orders earlier. I hardly had time to sit and check Instagram posts before our food was ready. The cost of this meal for two was $30. Daylesford isn't really known for "cheap eats," but this takeaway restaurant is good value.I'll soon be ready to revisit Bolton's Takeaway!

Disappointing after reading reviews. Cold chiko roll, no steak sandwiches, one coffee with sugar when ordered without sugar. Cappachino’s without chocolate. Will not be back.
