I stopped by for lunch while passing through, and I was really impressed! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service was top-notch!

I was completely ignored for 25 minutes and have never felt so unwelcome at a business before. There weren’t even many customers there. It seems that if you’re not a local, you’re not valued.

Our server, Corrina, was both sweet and efficient. She promptly took our drink orders and returned with our drinks in no time. She also highlighted some popular menu items and took our food orders with a cheerful demeanor. As soon as our meals arrived, we decided to sample some of the beer on tap. Blue Moon was our favorite choice at a very reasonable price of $4 per glass, making this place feel like a true local hangout. Corrina provided excellent service, engaging with us personally, quickly refilling our drinks without needing to ask, and removing empty plates with impressive timing. Now, for the food: I ordered the crispy beef tacos—three for $10—while my friends opted for BBQ pork nachos. The taco shells were wonderfully crunchy and filled with ground beef, shredded iceberg lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes. While we enjoyed them for the price, we felt the beef was slightly on the salty side; a more traditional seasoning blend of garlic, onion, smoked paprika, black pepper, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, and cumin would have taken them to the next level. The nachos, however, were outstanding. The chips were fantastic, and the BBQ pork and baked beans topped them perfectly, offering a delicious twist on the classic nachos—I'm still dreaming about those crispy, house-made chips! And did I mention the $4 beers? With live bands on stage, dance lessons, a pool table, shuffleboard, darts, corn hole, and plenty of outdoor seating, this spot is definitely worth a stop off HWY 93. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Chuck Wagon Bar and Grill is an excellent spot for good food, great drinks, and plenty of entertainment. Plus, it's kid-friendly, so the little ones can join in on the fun too!
