The foie gras was undercooked, the lobster ravioli had overcooked un-chewable lobster pieces, and when my husband mentioned that the steak is overcooked and very fatty(more than usual) the waitress started arguing that we don’t see the color right from the hurricane windows and he should have chosen another type of steak if he doesn’t like a fatty New York strip. We weren’t looking for comped food, but she asked how is the food and we told her. And the answer is to start arguing? And I am not even mentioning the prices, but that we expected. Just for quality food.
Top of Daytona Restaurant offers a breathtaking dining experience with panoramic views, exquisite seafood, attentive staff, and an extensive wine selection. A must-visit for a memorable meal in Daytona Beach!
Views were stunning. Food was unexpected and delicious. Try the Kangaroo it's rare to find and the lamb lollipops were perfect.
We have eaten here before and it has always been so good we use it as a reference whenever we eat somewhere else. However this time we took some guests telling them what a great experience it was going to be. It was terrible especially considering the price they charge. Even the water was only refilled once and that was because we asked them to. Not what you expect when paying almost $400 for appetizers and main course. We decide not to get dessert which is usually the highlight of our meal. My wife did not want me saying anything negative while we were there as we had guests but I had to say something. Basically if this had been our first visit we would never have gone back
I’ve been in town for the summer, I’ve tried a few nicer restaurants on the oceanfront but this was hands down my fav. Upscale vibe, unbelievable views, nice people. I am unsure if they were having an off night for the person complaining about the chicken marsala, that’s what I got and it was cooked to perfection. Potatoes were crisp, chicken was perfect temp veggies were on point. Oh and the rolls, get the rolls. So all that, a small caesar salad, an ipa an old fashioned around $80, more than fair. I’ll definitely be back again next time I’m in town.
